    Get your PhD at UC!

The University of Cincinnati is now accepting applications for our Phd Program in Management, beginning in academic year 2019-2020. The Management Department includes scholars interested in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, and Organizational Behavior. We are currently recruiting applicants interested in questions concerning strategic issues in organizations involving either firm level decisions (mergers and acquisitions, human capital investments, corporate social responsibility, etc.) or firm outcomes (firm performance, firm risk, survival, etc.)

Our overarching goal is to prepare our doctoral students for successful scholarly careers in academia. Our department is distinctive in its emphasis on the use of diverse methodologies as well as its close-knit approach to mentoring students. While we assign advisors to each student, we also encourage students to work with multiple faculty members in order to create a competitive pipeline of high quality research. The program is accredited by AACSB.

The Management faculty consistently publish in influential journals, such as Administrative Science QuarterlyAcademy of Management JournalAcademy of Management Review, and Strategic Management Journal, among others. Faculty members also sit on the editorial boards of such journals and are actively engaged in collaborations with business organizations in the region.

The University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business provides all admitted students full funding through scholarships/tuition waivers and assistantships.
