    The Department of Management has a full-time tenure track position available beginning August 17, 2018. Primary responsibilities include teaching, conducting scholarly research primarily in the area of strategy with general management as an associated area, and service to the Department of Management, Miller College of Business, Ball State University, the Muncie community, and State of Indiana.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education: PhD in management or other business-related field. (ABD near completion will be considered but degree must be completed by August 1, 2018)
    • Experience: Evidence of scholarly research and teaching experience in management or other business-related field.
    • Teaching: Experience in management or business-related field.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Full time teaching experience in strategy or other business-related field at the university level, including teaching experience with new technologies
    • PhD in strategy or other business-related field.
    • Significant record of publications in refereed journals in the strategy or management area, sufficient to support application at associate professor level.

    Certifications/Licensures

    Completion of a doctorate by August 1, 2018 by an accredited institution of higher education in a field of study approved by department chairperson and college dean is expected in order to be eligible for a tenure track position recommendation. Tenure is not automatic but depends upon excellent performance, budgetary consideration, tenure density, and the needs of the university.
