Dear BPS Members,
I am looking for your suggestions for an integrative case (preferably HBS) to use it as an end-of-the-semester strategy (Business and Corporate) case. The ideal case ,if it exists, would be one spanning general environment (STEP) analysis, industry analysis, value-chain analysis, business model, innovation and growth strategies involving strategic alliances, mergers & acquisitions. The goal is to have a case that pull things together and provides students with opportunities to get a comprehensive and integrated perspective on multiple aspects of strategy from one single mega-case.
I am currently using the following set of cases for this course:
- Computer Reservation Systems : An Industry of Its Own
- Nucor at a Crossroads
- Matching Dell
- Dell Inc. in 2009
- Starbucks
- Corning, Inc.: A Network of Alliances
- Nestle-Rowntree (A&B)
- Lan Airlines in 2008: Connecting the World to Latin America
- Charles Schwab in 2002
Thanks in advance for your help.
-Manish
