STRATEGY POSITION(S): ASSISTANT, ASSOCIATE, OR FULL PROFESSOR
Description: The Department of Managerial Studies in the College of Business Administration (CBA) at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) invites applications for one or more tenured or tenure-track position(s) in strategic management beginning August 2016. This is an open rank position. Duties: To be considered at the Assistant level, applicants should have an earned doctorate or have made significant progress in completing their dissertation research in strategic management or a related discipline. Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated the ability to publish in highly regarded journals including but not limited to: Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, and Journal of Management. Applicants at the Associate or Full Professor level must include an earned doctorate in strategic management or a related discipline, research publications commensurate with rank, and evidence of teaching excellence and commitment to service. The salary will be very competitive with leading research universities. The search will remain open until the position(s) is (are) filled.
