Using Experiments to Examine Interfirm Exchanges

If you are interested in using experimental methods to examine interfirm relationships, please join us for this highly interactive PDW. In this workshop, established and emerging scholars actively engaged in this research stream will discuss how experiments can be used to overcome issues in traditional studies using secondary data. They will first present experiments on important topics in inter-firm research such as adverse selection, interfirm trust repair, choosing to make or buy and the dual role of trustworthiness in these decisions. An interactive panel discussion will follow the presentations, in which the panelists will address audience questions, as well as prepared questions about using experiments in interfirm exchange research. Finally, session participants can discuss their individual projects and concerns, and receive feedback from PDW panelists and participants in a roundtable discussion.
