    FACULTY POSITION IN MANAGEMENT

     

    The Department of Management at the University of Georgia seeks qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in Strategic Management starting August 2015.  This is a tenure-track position and is subject to final approval by the University of Georgia and the Board of Regents of the State of Georgia. 

     

    We seek individuals with outstanding potential to contribute to our talented group of scholars. We encourage recent graduates and those with 1 to 3 years of experience at the assistant level to apply.  The successful applicant will have completed their Ph.D. in Management or any closely related field during the last four years and have demonstrated potential to publish in top journals, exhibit excellence in the classroom, and the desire to work well in a collegial, interdisciplinary department.

     

    The Department of Management at the University of Georgia is among the most productive in the nation, ranking in the top 25 over the past 5 years in publications in the top-tier Management journals.  Our roster includes former editors of AMJ, ORM, and JoM, and current associate editors of AMJ and AMR.  The strategy group includes Scott Graffin, Mike Pfarrer, Christy Shropshire, and Tim Quigley, while the O.B. group includes Jason Colquitt, Daniel Feldman, Robert Vandenberg, Laura Little, Marie Mitchell, and Jessica Rodell.

    FACULTY POSITION IN MANAGEMENT

     

    The Department of Management at the University of Georgia seeks qualified applicants for one or more positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in Strategic Management starting August 2015.  This is a tenure-track position and is subject to final approval by the University of Georgia and the Board of Regents of the State of Georgia.  This is a second assistant professor position that is in addition to an earlier position announcement posted in August 2014.
