DOCTORAL/JUNIOR
FACULTY CONSORTIUM
The WAM 2010 Doctoral/Junior Faculty Consortium is a two-day experience, beginning in the afternoon of March 24th and continuing on March 25th. The consortium is designed to help new doctoral students, ABD (All-But-Dissertation) students, and new faculty members cope with the professional and personal challenges they are facing. It will provide you with an opportunity to meet some of the most prominent scholars in our field, and a chance to talk to some new colleagues. It will also introduce many of you to the friendly, collegial culture of the Western Academy of Management.
2010 Faculty Participants include:
Nicole Biggart, University of California
Teppo Felin, Brigham Young University
Terry Mitchell, University of Washington
Joyce Osland, San Jose State University
Chuck Snow, Penn State University
Roy Suddaby, University of Alberta
Bill Torbert, Boston College
David Whetten, Brigham Young University
There is no charge for the consortium for doctoral students, provided this is either the first or the second WAM consortium you have attended. For junior faculty there is a $50 charge.
Dinner on March 24th and continental breakfast and lunch on the 25th are provided to all consortium participants.
