    ONE Doctoral Consortium

    Academy of Management (AOM), Boston

Applications accepted by June 30, 2012

    Purpose

The ONE Doctoral Consortium aims to offer a networking and learning opportunity to doctoral students engaged in organizations and the natural environment (ONE) research. The ONE research field includes but it is not limited to business sustainability, environmental strategy, climate change, sustainable finance, environmental certifications, environmental measures, and environmental governance. In addition to students with a primary interest in environmental research, this doctoral consortium is designed for students whose focus research area is outside of ONE but who also emphasize environmental issues in their work.

    Schedule

The ONE Doctoral Consortium will be held on August 4, Saturday, 8 am – 2 pm.

Specific hotel room will be announced later.

    Format

The Doctoral Consortium will be divided into two segments. During the first part, students will gain insights into the PhD journey, job market, teaching and doing research, and early career advice. In the second segment, doctoral students will be challenged to share their research ideas with faculty and fellow students.  Informal feedback will be provided.

    How to apply

Please submit the following documents to both co-chairs Patricia Kanashiro (ptk@gwu.edu) and Brent McKnight (bmcknight.phd@ivey.ca).
