    CALL FOR CASES!!!

    The 31st Annual CASE Association Conference May 16-19, 2007 ? New
    Brunswick, NJ in conjunction with EAM Hyatt Regency New Brunswick

    DEADLINE: December 8, 2006 Electronic Submissions ONLY

    CASE is interested in reviewing: a) cases in the advanced developmental
    stage, b) papers/symposia dealing with case writing and teaching, c)
    student authored cases, and d) "embryo" cases in the idea stage of
    development. Awards will be provided for Best Case, Best Mentored Case, and
    Best ?New? Case (from First-time submitters to CASE). See our website at:

    Advanced cases-in-progress (with teaching note) should be sufficiently
    formed to enable constructive criticism. Roundtable discussions with
    designated discussants comprised of the top case researchers, journal
    editors, and textbook publishers. These cases will appear in CASE?s
    Proceedings (along with anonymous reviewers? comments).

    Research papers and symposia on case-related topics should follow the
    guidelines established for the affiliated Eastern Academy of Management
    conference and will be published in their Proceedings.

    Student Authored Cases Each year we highlight student case writers and
    provide a special place on our program for them. Students in need of

    Embryo cases may be as brief as one or two pages and should outline the
    case idea as well as developmental issues about which the author wants
    guidance. These cases will be discussed in an open-roundtable workshop
    where experienced case writers will provide hands-on advisement. Please
    note that a special embryo submission form is required and is available at
    caseweb.org (Limit of one embryo submission per author).

    All presenters at CASE who are not yet members of The CASE Association are
    required to pay a $25 annual membership fee which will be collected at
    registration.

    The CASE Association is a developmental organization. Our mission is to
    foster case research, writing and instruction; an approach that
    is "inclusive" rather than "exclusive." We strive to help case writers
    (particularly beginners and potential beginners) understand more about
    improving their initial efforts at case research, writing, and
    instruction. ? CASE is the Eastern affiliate of the North American Case
    Research Association (www.nacra.net)
