    The Krannert School of Management at Purdue University is soliciting
    applications for a Assistant/Associate Professor in Strategic Management.
    This tenure-track position is available in the Fall of 2006.

    The Krannert School offers comprehensive undergraduate, graduate, and
    executive programs that consistently place well in the rankings of major
    business publications. Purdue University is a world renowned research
    institution, located in the university town of West Lafayette, Indiana –
    part of a community that is consistently ranked as one of the nation’s most
    attractive places to live.

    The Strategic Management Group within the Krannert School maintains a
    strong tradition of research productivity and teaching excellence, and
    actively contributes to the academic community, serving on the editorial
    boards of major journals and in professional leadership positions. The
    Strategy Ph.D. program has a long tradition of distinction and students
    consistently are placed in positions at major business schools.

    We are actively seeking the strongest applicant pool and encourage women,

    Candidates for an assistant position should have (or be near the completion
    of) a doctorate and exhibit the capacity for research publishable in top-
    tier journals and excellence in teaching. Candidates for an associate
    professor position should have an earned doctorate and an established
    record of excellence in research, teaching and service on doctoral
    dissertation committees. This position involves teaching courses in
    Strategic Management at the undergraduate, graduate and executive levels.

    Review of applications will begin October 31st, 2005 and continue until the
    position is filled. Applicants should provide a cover letter and
    curriculum vitae that includes:
    (1) educational achievement, (2) research/publication record, (3)
    indicators of teaching activity/effectiveness, and (4) work and other
    experience. Initial screening of applications will begin immediately.
