    Description

    : 

    The Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto invites candidate submissions for one tenure-track position in the area of Strategic Management at the Assistant Professor level at its downtown St. George campus for appointment at July 1, 2010 

     

    We seek individuals with strong theoretical and methodological background in one of the basic disciplines (e.g., economics, sociology) and an ability to apply this knowledge to important Strategic Management problems. Successful candidates can be newly-minted PhDs or those who are currently appointed as Assistant Professors in Strategic Management or closely related disciplines. 

     

    Candidates must have a strong research orientation and the ability to grow into an effective instructor in one or more of our programs. Duties include research and teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Rotman School of Management has a strong research-oriented faculty that is supportive of serious scholarship and committed to the professional development of its faculty. The Rotman School has a close relationship with many other faculties within the University of Toronto, including Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Engineering and Political Science.
