I would like to highlight a special BPS Plenary session at this year's AOM meetings entitled, "The Present and Future of Behavioral Strategy."
The impact of human psychology on firms' strategic choices has long been a subject of study in the strategy field. Recently, this study has received renewed attention with further progress in the fields of cognitive psychology and behavioral economics. This session assesses the state of the behavioral approach to strategy, and its future.
