Networks and Routines in Digital Worlds
Dear colleagues,
As we all spend an increasing amount of our time interacting online, so too do the people and organizations we study! From online user communities to online video games, many contexts now feature online interactions as the main mode of exchange. This leaves traces in the form of digital data, which provide us with great visibility over behaviors and interactions in a variety of settings relevant to the study of organizations.
Join us in our symposium on Monday, August 8th at 9.45 AM in the Anaheim Marriott, Platinum Ballroom 3 for four presentations and an extensive discussion of the opportunities of digital worlds for organizational studies, especially in the investigation of networks and routines. We will have the chance to discuss with renowned scholars who published studies based on data from digital worlds, and will present ongoing work based on such data.
