The Eller College of Management / McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Arizona invites applications from dynamic and innovative teachers with a cross-disciplinary perspective for the position of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in entrepreneurship and innovation. The start date for this position is January 2014 or August 2014. The successful candidate primarily will teach advanced undergraduate students. The Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will report to the Executive Director of the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, and will work closely with the faculty of the McGuire Center to assure that specific course objectives are met. The Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will also work with the Eller College and McGuire Center in the advancement of the entrepreneurial mission of the College.
Candidates must have:
· A PhD in a relevant discipline
· A record of inspired and engaged teaching
· Specific academic experience related to entrepreneurship/innovation
· Non-academic work experience
· Comfort with a collaborative teaching environment
Preference given to candidates with:
Teaching awards or other evidence of exceptional teaching
· Demonstrated application of experiential pedagogy
· Experience in diverse consulting or operating environments
