Copenhagen Business School invites applications for an open rank position in the Department of Innovation and Organizational Economics (INO). INO is one of the largest and most productive international research environments within innovation and entrepreneurship. INO is home to research centers such as the Mærsk McKinney-Møller Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship, the Research Centre on Biotech Business, and Shipping Economics & Innovation Center. INO hosts the directorship of DRUID and the editorial office of the journal Industry & Innovation.
INO faculty has recently published in such core journals as Management Science, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Information Systems Research, Research Policy, and Journal of Business Venturing. Research topics of the Department include open innovation, markets for technology, university-industry interaction, patenting and licensing, high-tech entrepreneurship, behavioral economics in entrepreneurship, founder characteristics, labor mobility, social capital and innovation, and team dynamics. Empirical data ranges from experiments to surveys to register data (including the national Danish employee/employer register).
The department teaches innovation and entrepreneurship primarily at the MSc level. The department hosts MSc programs in e.g. Management of Innovation and Business Development, Biotech Business Innovation, Innovation in Health Care, and Creative Business Processes.
