The Management Department at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina invites applications and nominations for a clinical position in strategy or closely related areas (e.g., strategic human capital, entrepreneurship). This non-tenure track position is focused primarily on teaching and service/outreach activities, but research contributions in refereed journals (disciplinary, pedagogical, or practitioner) are also expected, as it is important that candidates maintain academically-qualified status within the AACSB framework. A Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline is highly desired, but consideration may be given to candidates with masters or law degrees and significant industry experience. All faculty searches are subject to the availability of funding.
The desired start date for the position is January, 2016, although a start date of August, 2016 is also possible. The appointment is renewable, and salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Candidates should submit a vita, evidence of teaching excellence, a recent research paper, and at least two letters of recommendation.
