ASSOCIATE/FULL PROFESSOR IN MANAGEMENT
We invite applications for two faculty positions at the
tenured rank of Associate or Full Professor in Management,
to begin July 1, 2008. This search is part of a major
building effort in AGSM that includes several new faculty
positions in the Department of Management and Marketing. We
encourage applications from research teams and candidates
with dual career needs.
We seek senior candidates with superior research training
who have achieved outstanding accomplishment and scholarly
distinction in organizational research. Research area is
open, but we will give preference to candidates with
expertise in the core areas of strategy, leadership and
organizational behavior. The ideal candidates also will have
a record of effective academic leadership and demonstrated
success in the instruction of demanding undergraduate, MBA,
or executive students. AGSM plans to introduce a PhD
program in the coming year, and candidates with experience
supervising doctoral students are especially encouraged to
apply.
The Department of Management and Marketing is building a
dynamic and highly productive group of faculty who are able
to benefit from the sophisticated research resources offered
by AGSM, including a Sloan Foundation Industry Studies
Center, a behavioral lab, and a pioneering eLab for cutting-
edge web-based research. AGSM faculty have access to the
new UCR Survey Research Center. Newly appointed Dean David
Stewart, a renowned marketing scholar and accomplished
university administrator, is also a faculty member of the
