Visiting Assistant Professor Position, Louisiana State University
The Rucks Department of Management in the E. J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University seeks to fill a visiting assistant professorship, beginning in Fall 2011 (position subject to administrative approval).
Anticipated teaching responsibilities will be three sections per term (six sections total), primarily senior level undergraduate strategic management, as well as appropriate research and faculty service. A Ph.D. degree in Management or a related field is required. The Department seeks applicants who have established themselves as productive scholars or have demonstrated the potential to do so.
Located in Baton Rouge, LSU is the flagship university in the Louisiana State University System. The College of Business offers undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. programs of study and emphasizes high-quality research and teaching. As the state capital, Baton Rouge provides numerous cultural and recreational amenities that enhance the quality of life for area residents. Baton Rouge is located approximately 65 miles north of New Orleans, with easy access to the Crescent City's unique flare.
