Admissions

The Department of Management uses a rolling admission process. We encourage candidates to apply by February 1. However, applications received after this date will also receive consideration on a space available basis. The expenditure of time, effort, and resources required by the student to pursue the Ph.D. is considerable. Similarly, the investment in a Ph.D. candidate by Department of Management faculty and the E.J. Ourso College of Business Administration is significant. Consequently, serious attention is given to assessing an applicant's potential for successfully completing such a rigorous undertaking as indicated by their academic record, letters of recommendation, GMAT, and statement of purpose.
