The LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY Rucks Department of Management seeks applications for tenure track faculty positions in strategic management at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning in Fall, 2008. Applicants should have a PhD. in Management. Candidates should have an established research record, or have demonstrated the potential to be highly productive scholars and strong teachers in their chosen areas of expertise. Duties will include teaching management courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting quality research, and serving on various faculty committees.
The Department of Management and the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">College</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Business Administration</st1:placename></st1:place> at LSU provide outstanding collegial and financial support for productive research and teaching. The Department offers B.S., M.B.A., and Ph.D. programs of study and maintains strong ties with the business and public sectors of the region. In addition, <st1:city w:st="on">Baton Rouge</st1:city> and nearby <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">New Orleans</st1:city></st1:place> provide numerous cultural and recreational amenities that enhance the quality of life for area residents.
