Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in International Business
As part of long-standing commitment to enhance research and teaching in
the areas of international business, we are seeking applications for a
Lectureship. Candidates with a range of specialisms and disciplinary
backgrounds may be considered. These include areas such as comparative
management, international accounting, corporate finance, strategy and
decision making, international entrepreneurship, international
political economy, and the role of knowledge and technology in the
strategy process. However, some preference may be given to an interest
in comparative research in Europe, North America or East Asia and in
the areas relevant to business strategy or governance in multinational
companies.
The Department of Management at King's College London offers an
outstanding and supportive research-oriented environment with
favourable working conditions (teaching load approximately 120 hours
per year). The ability to teach in a specialist field on our BSc in
Business Management and MSc in International Management degrees will be
expected. Emphasis will be placed on the candidate's research
excellence. Applicants will be expected to have, or to be near
completion of, a Ph.D.

The Lectureship will be on either Lecturer A scale £25,334 - £29,055
per annum plus £2,323 London Allowance per annum or Lecturer B scale
£29,991 - £38,449 per annum plus £2,323 London Allowance per annum.
