Assistant Teaching Professor in Management (NTT)
The Department of Management in Trulaske College of Business at University of Missouri invites applicants with excellent teaching credentials in Management for a non-tenure track (NTT), full-time teaching position. Candidates must have already completed a Ph.D. degree in Management and must be available to start teaching undergraduate strategic management classes on campus immediately (starting August 24, 2015). Overall teaching load will be equivalent to twelve credit hours per semester.
This position will include teaching two sections of MANGMT 4970 Strategic Management course per semester; teaching newly required freshmen and sophomore seminar courses for all business students in the Trulaske College of Business and coordinating the associated labs; playing active role in data collection in classes for AACSB Assurance of Learning process; and assuming active service roles related to undergraduate curriculum development and quality assurance at department, college, and university levels.
The Trulaske College of Business consists of over 60 full-time faculty members who serve approximately 4,700 undergraduates, 300 master's students, and 40 doctoral students. The Department of Management consists of 12 tenure-track faculty members and 10 full-time teaching faculty who share a strong commitment to excellent teaching. The department includes full-time faculty with expertise in strategic management, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, human resources, operations management, and management information systems.
