· Salary band for assistant prof level is 80- 110,000 EUR (ca. 94-130,000 USD) pa (depending on track-record and negotiation)
· Personal research budget is ca. 15,000 EUR (17,500 USD) pa, can be rolled over for a year.
· Teaching load is ca. 150 academic hours (i.e. 45mins; equals ca. 3.5 courses pa) for those who are research active
· Sabbatical is every three years for half a year, with continued salary and some travel expenses taken care of.

· A command of German is not a prerequisite for the post as all our teaching is in English (the admin as well).

Kühne Logistics University (KLU) is inviting applications for an Assistant Professor of Strategy or Human Resources Management (tenure-track) starting September 2018.
We are interested in recruiting a scholar who is committed to excellent teaching and research alike. As such, we expect outstanding (potential) contributions to international scholarship as well as inspiring teaching within KLU's undergraduate and master's programs. We welcome applications from candidates from varied research orientations/sub-fields within the field of Strategy and Human Resources Management. In terms of research themes/expertise, we especially encourage applications from candidates with orientation towards the university's key competence areas of Digital Transformation, Creating Value or Sustainability. Candidates should have completed their PhD by the time of the appointment.
