    Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor in Strategic Management

    Pending budgetary approval, the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate position in Strategic Management to begin Fall 2017. Individuals with secondary expertise in international management are especially encouraged to apply, as well as those with interests spanning other areas in the Department (e.g., information systems, leadership, organizational behavior).  Candidates at the Senior Assistant/Associate Professor level are expected to have a record of scholarly accomplishment that includes publication in the leading strategy journals and demonstrated teaching excellence. At the Assistant Professor level candidates are expected to demonstrate potential for research and teaching excellence. The position requires an earned doctorate in a relevant management discipline before the initial appointment. Teaching opportunities include advanced undergraduate, graduate, and executive courses. Salary and benefits will be competitive with leading business schools, and necessary support for conducting research and for professional development will be provided.

Preferred qualifications include experience with the case teaching method and relevant industry experience. Salary and benefits will be competitive with leading business schools, and necessary support for conducting research and professional development will be provided.
