    Audencia Business School PhD Funding offer

    2017-2020 on Cybercrime

       

     

    Context

     
    The latest WannaCry virus attack has made it evident that cybercrime is increasing at a constant pace. The growing social and economic impact of cybercrime has urged international organizations, businesses, and universities to develop research projects in order to expand current understanding of the phenomenon. Audencia Business School offers a PHD funding to carry out a PHD dissertation about cybercrime from 2017 to 2020.

     

    The doctoral student will carry out an empirical study with companies, particularly located in the "Pays de Loire" region (Western France). 

     

    Knowledge and skill requirements

     

    The doctoral candidate must have a Master's degree in management sciences or a diploma from a management school or an engineering school. He/she should be capable of conducting qualitative and quantitative research. A good command of French (interviews will be conducted in French) and English is mandatory. An interest in the theme of economic fraud and particularly in cybercrime will be a supplementary point in the selection of candidate.

    Start date: 01/10/2017

    Contract duration: 3 years

    Remuneration: Thesis funded by "le Conseil Régional des Pays de la Loire and Audencia Business School"
