The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University is seeking applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in our Strategy and Business Economics group to begin August 2016. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in strategic management or closely related field from an AACSB accredited university. Experienced assistants as well as ABDs with anticipated completion by the time of appointment will be considered. We seek candidates with strong training in empirical methods, like econometrics, and the ability to publish in top strategy journals. Preference will be given to candidates with secondary research interests in the areas of entrepreneurship and / or health care and to candidates with teaching experience in strategic management.
Owen is dedicated exclusively to graduate management education and offers a daytime MBA with approximately 400 full-time students, an Executive MBA program, and masters programs in finance, accounting, and health care management.
