    Call for Papers
    SIM Manuscript Development Workshop

    Date: Saturday, August 10, 2013
Organizer: Andrew Crane, York University, acrane@schulich.yorku.ca
Organizer: Dawn Elm, University of St. Thomas, drelm@stthomas.edu
Organizer: Kathy Rehbein, Marquette U., kathleen.rehbein@marquette.edu

This PDW brings together scholars to aid SIM colleagues in their efforts to publish in top management journals. We have assembled a team of scholars who have been successful at publishing ethics, corporate responsibility, stakeholder or related work in top management journals such as AMJ, AMR, ASQ, Org Science, Org Studies and SMJ. We will pair these experienced scholars with SIM members interested in exploring how specific manuscripts might be developed to meet the publication standards of top management journals. Applicants to the workshop must submit a paper to one of the organizers listed above via email by June 6, 2013. Organizers will review the papers and send decisions by July 2. Once an applicant's paper is accepted, it will be assigned to two mentors. Each mentor will receive (ahead of time) working papers from two separate participants and will have comments ready for them in the session. We are looking for works-in-progress so applicants should limit their submissions to no more than 40 pages including references, tables, figures and so forth.

Pre-registration is required for this workshop and an approval code will be sent upon manuscript acceptance. To register online, please visit https://secure.aomonline.org/PDWReg. The deadline to register online is
July 13, 2013. If you have any questions, please contact kathleen.rehbein@marquette.edu. Thank you for your interest.
