    Dear BPS members:

    You are kindly invited for the Academic Workshop "Dynamic Capabilities and Organizational Learning: Toward a Next Generation Research Agenda on Alliances and Acquisitions". The main aim of this Academic Workshop is to jointly discuss and develop a  research agenda on this topic for our field for the years to come.

    Jointly organized by TiasNimbas Business School and the Department of Organization & Strategy (TiSEM), both part of Tilburg University, the program features four keynote speakers:

    * Geert Duysters (Tilburg University),

    * Dovev Lavie (Technion),

    * Tomi Laamanen (University of St. Gallen),

    * Maurizio Zollo (Bocconi)

    After the keynotes, separate round tables will allow for group discussions to sharpen research ideas and discuss fitting methodologies. We will round off with a wrap-up by our four rapporteurs and a plenary discussion.

    The event takes place at the campus of Tilburg University on Thursday January 16, 2014. The program covers the entire afternoon from 12.30pm to 5.30PM. Further details on location and travel will be announced later to those who register.

    There will be limited room for 40 people so please sign up with Miranda Stienstra (e-mail: w.a.stienstra@tilburguniversity.edu) if you'd like to join the Academic Workshop.

    The Workshop precedes my inaugural address which takes place on Friday January 17. If you join the workshop, you are very welcome to also join the inaugural address and drinks.

    Looking forward welcoming you to this Academic Workshop!

    Warm regards,

    Koen Heimeriks
