    Tenure Track Assistant or Associate Professor - Strategy and International
    Business

    The Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University in Metro
    Vancouver, British Columbia seeks outstanding candidates for our tenure-
    track position at the intersection of Strategy and International Business
    (Rank: assistant or associate professor), specifically to work with the
    newly established Canadian International Institute for Extractive
    Industries and Development (CIIEID).

    The successful candidate will have a strong research and publication
    record and should demonstrate a willingness to develop a program focused
    on sustainable development strategies, applied to extractive sectors in
    developing countries. Additionally, the candidate must have demonstrated
    teaching competence at the undergraduate, graduate, and/or executive
    education levels.

    In particular the candidate will have the ability to offer courses in the
    broad areas of emerging markets and international business and/or public
    policy in our existing programs, and develop and offer executive training
    in resource governance in developing countries. Included in this training
    will be the need to develop relevant case studies for use as classroom
    material. A Ph.D. is required. It is also preferable that the candidate
    have relevant experience in the extractive industries in developing
    countries.

    The Beedie School of Business is recognized as a top 100 ranked research
    school, is accredited by both AACSB and EQUIS, and is signatory to
    Principles for Responsible Management Education. We have programs at the
    Undergraduate, Masters, Ph.D., and Executive levels, including Canada’s
    first Executive MBA program.

    The school is the recent recipient of a record-setting $22 million gift
    from alumnus Ryan Beedie and his father Keith. The donation will bolster
    the faculty's already strong position as a global leader in research.
