The Department of Management at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University anticipates one tenure-track opening for Fall 2015 in the area of Strategic Management with an emphasis in leadership. This is an open rank position, but preference will be given to individuals at the assistant level. Candidates possessing an earned doctorate or the strong prospect of earning a doctorate by Fall 2015 in strategy and leadership are encouraged to apply. Candidates for this position should possess the interest and ability to publish high quality research, have excellent teaching skills, a desire to advise student clubs and competitions, engage and plan international graduate and undergraduate trips, and advance the mission of Huntsman School of Business and Utah State University. Candidates for this position should also have the ability and desire to teach both strategy and leadership classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The nine-month faculty position will receive ample resources to support the development and maintenance of program of excellence in both teaching and research. Huntsman School faculty are also expected to provide leadership in their respective programs and make meaningful contributions to the academic and professional communities. Salary is competitive and based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Summer teaching and research grants may also be available.
