4th Annual Women's Networking Event! The SMS Women's Networking Event will be an opportunity to engage in discussions with scholars of all genders on a variety of career issues, including negotiations, promotions, balancing research and teaching, and finding co-authors. The event will take place in-person during lunch at the SMS 42nd Annual Conference in London on Sunday, September 18th 2022 from 12:30 to 1:30pm. The discussion will be structured with table leaders facilitating conversations. Participants are encouraged to bring questions, stories, and their own experiences to share. Our goal is to create an environment that invites connection and community and that helps to overcome the barriers based on gender, geography, career stage, etc. that too often separate us as scholars and people. All are welcome, but participation is limited; first-come, first-served based on pre-registration. Please use the link below to register and complete the topic survey – we will do our best to assign you to one of your preferred topics based on these responses.
