    Dear colleagues,

    We are pleased to announce a Professional Development Workshop at the 2026 Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Philadelphia:

    **Measuring Founder Demographics at Scale: Novel Methods and New Research Questions** (Session ID 15829)

    Friday, July 31, 2026 | 8:00–10:30 AM EDT

    Loews Philadelphia Hotel, Second Floor, Commonwealth A1 (1200 Market St.)

    This PDW brings together scholars who study founder demographics (gender, race, age, social class, and immigrant status) and who are applying these frontier measurement methods in their own work. Through structured discussion between panelists and participants, we aim to expand both the empirical toolkit and the research agenda on founder demographics in entrepreneurship, innovation, and strategy.
