Please join us for a panel symposium on
Theoretical and Empirical Advancements in Purpose-Driven Workplaces and Employee Outcomes
Monday, August 7, 2023 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Boston Park Plaza, Stuart Room - Conference Level, 4th Floor
To assess the current state of the debate on purpose-driven workplaces and their impact on employees, this panel symposium brings together a group of distinguished scholars who conduct research at the intersection of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and employees from a variety of perspectives and levels of analysis. The purpose of this panel is to provide insights into (1) the outcomes of engaging in CSR for employees, organizations, and corporate governance, (2) the underlying employee attributions and internal organizational factors explaining such outcomes, and (3) strategies that can help organizations more effectively leverage CSR initiatives for the benefit of organizations, employees, and society at large. The panel will provide directions for future research to better understand the relationship between CSR and employee outcomes and identify ways to bridge the gap between academic research and practice in this field.
