📣 We are excited to share that our PDW, "Corporate Sociopolitical Activism: Domestic and Global Perspectives," will take place at the 86th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in Philadelphia.

    📅 Sunday, August 2, 2026, 14:00–16:00 EDT
    📍 203A, Philadelphia Convention Center

Corporate sociopolitical activism presents increasingly complex challenges for firms operating across polarized domestic environments and divergent global institutional contexts. This PDW brings together leading scholars to discuss why firms engage in sociopolitical activism, how they craft and communicate their stances, how activism strategies differ across domestic and international contexts, and how shifting political and geopolitical environments shape the evolution of corporate activism.

We are grateful to have a wonderful group of distinguished panelists joining us:
Joao Albino-Pimentel - University of St. Gallen
    Forrest Briscoe - Cornell University
    Jonathan Doh - Villanova University
    Valentina Marano - Northeastern University
Kate Odziemkowska - University of Toronto

Organized by Fangwen Lin, Ishva Minefee, and Lori Yue.

We look forward to an interactive discussion on corporate sociopolitical activism, nonmarket strategy, stakeholder management, multinational corporations, and global institutional environments. Please join us if you will be at AOM in Philadelphia!
