    The Management Department of the College of Business Administration at Loyola Marymount University invites applications applications for two tenure-track positions with a focus on Strategic Management at the rank of Assistant Professor.

    A Ph.D. or DBA in Management or a related area (conferred by August 2023 at latest) is required, along with evidence of teaching effectiveness and research potential in the area of strategic management. Teaching and research interests in a secondary area within the management discipline are also desirable, preferably in the areas of international business, entrepreneurship, business ethics and sustainability.

    Evidence of research potential and teaching effectiveness are critical. The ideal candidate will demonstrate interest and potential to engage in collaborative and inter-disciplinary research and teaching. The appointment involves teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Prior teaching and industry experiences are appreciated but not required. Opportunities exist for summer research grants, additional teaching income, and travel to professional conferences.

    The mission of the College of Business Administration is to advance knowledge and develop business leaders with moral courage and creative confidence to be a force for good in the global community.     The Management department is interdisciplinary, with faculty members spanning various areas of management research and teaching.
