University-based entrepreneurship: determinants, outcomes, and impact

We invite submissions for a research workshop dedicated to the evolving landscape of university-based entrepreneurship. The workshop will address student entrepreneurship, academic spin-offs, and the role of higher education institutions in shaping entrepreneurial trajectories.
The event is part of the PRIN Project "Institutions, Education and Entrepreneurship Studies: a Novel Perspective on University Impact", coordinated by Professor Tommaso Minola, University of Bergamo.
Format
- Keynote lectures by Professor Anita Van Gils (Maastricht University, The Netherlands) and Professor Einar Rasmussen (Nord University, Norway, and University of Nottingham, United Kingdom).
- Roundtable discussions with early-stage or ongoing research projects (maximum 40 participants).
Eligibility
The workshop is open to scholars in entrepreneurship, innovation, higher education, and institutional studies. PhD students and early career researchers are particularly encouraged to apply.
Submission
Extended abstracts (3–5 pages) should be sent to ilaria.cascavilla@unibg.it no later than November 3, 2025. Notifications of acceptance will be communicated by November 10, 2025.
Participation is free of charge. Coffee breaks, lunches, and a conference dinner will be provided. Travel and accommodation expenses remain the responsibility of participants.
