Chile Strategy Conference

Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile is delighted to host the Chile Strategy Conference, which will take place in Santiago from December 17-19, 2025. The conference is co-sponsored by the Academy of Management's STR Division and by the INFORMS journal Strategy Science. One of our primary goals is to tighten links amongst Latin American management scholars, but we more than welcome participants from any other continent who would like to form such links.
The conference will have internationally recognized keynote speakers from academia as well as distinguished keynote speakers from the Chilean business landscape. Management scholars are encouraged to submit academic papers to be presented at the conference after going through a peer-reviewed process. Submissions will be evaluated by a scientific committee made up by Francisco Brahm, George Chondrakis, Ricardo Laverde, Hong Luo, Eduardo Melero, Denisa Mindruta, Francisco Morales, Gabriel Natividad, Neus Palomeras, Claudio Panico, Metin Sengul, and Paola Zanella. Several of them will also participate in the conference, alongside confirmed speakers such as Victor Bennett, Felipe Csaszar, Daniel Levinthal, Brian Wu and Todd Zenger.
Any topic connected to a firm's strategy is certainly suitable. We expect submissions in classical subjects such as business and corporate strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship, international business, culture, sustainability or strategic human capital. Modern topics such as ecosystems, platforms, AI, theory-driven strategy, etc, are certainly very welcome as well. The deadline for submissions is August 31, and accepted papers will be notified no more than two weeks later. Both full papers and long, elaborated abstracts are acceptable.
