    Call for Papers: Special Issue of Long Range Planning
    Diversification in the Digital Age: Rethinking Corporate Scope, Strategy, and Structure

    We are pleased to announce a Special Issue of Long Range Planning on "Diversification in the Digital Age: Rethinking Corporate Scope, Strategy, and Structure." This issue will explore how digital technologies such as AI, data, and platform infrastructures are reshaping the logic of diversification, raising new questions about corporate scope, governance, and organizational design. We welcome submissions that address these themes through conceptual, qualitative, or quantitative research.

    Guest Editors:

    ·       Costas Markides (London Business School, London, UK)

    ·       Ivanka Visnjic (Esade Business School, Barcelona, Spain)

    Key dates:

    ·       Submission deadline: April 1, 2026 (via the LRP submission system)

    ·       Paper development workshop: March 12, 2027, London Business School

    ·       Target publication: Spring 2027
