Call for Submissions for 37th IABS Annual Conference
Theme: The Roads Not Taken: Exploring New Frontiers in Business and Society
Providence, Rhode Island, USA
Thursday June 4th - Sunday June 7th, 2026
Submission Deadline: Friday, December 5th, 2025
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to share the Call for Submissions for the 37th IABS Annual Conference, to be held in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, from Thursday, June 4th to Sunday, June 7th, 2026!
The theme is The Roads Not Taken: Exploring New Frontiers in Business and Society, inviting you to reflect on the paths we have not taken so far, and to imagine what lies ahead for us in the near future. What roads have we failed to explore in business and society, and how can we venture into uncharted territories (ex. Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, climate crisis, demographic shifts, social inequality, etc.)? In particular, we welcome submissions that explore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (and/or quantum computing) on business and society, and offer perspectives on how these technologies are reshaping industries, social dynamics, ethical frameworks, and business education. As per our tradition, IABS annual conferences are developmental and encourage participants to submit their work on any topic from the broad field of business and society. Please find the attached Call for Submissions (PDF) for more detailed information.
Submissions
We invite submissions for five types of sessions, including discussion sessions, paper presentation sessions, symposium sessions, workshops, and innovative sessions. Before submitting, please carefully review the descriptions and submission requirements for each session type, provided on the Call. The deadline for submitting your contributions is Friday, December 5th, 2025. Please use the submission link on the IABS website linked below ("Submit your IABS 2026 Contribution here").
