The Davis School of Business at Colorado Mesa University (CMU) is thrilled to announce that we are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Management with an emphasis in Strategy.
About the Position:
📅 Starting Date: August 2024
🏛️ Location: On-campus position at CMU
Key Responsibilities:
📚 Teaching: You will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Strategy with an opportunity to teach in Operations Management (4-4 load).
📊 Research: Conduct original research in your field and aim to publish in peer-reviewed journals.
💼 Service: Actively participate in school and university-level service activities.
🎓 Advising: Mentor and support students in their academic, career, and research endeavors.
Required Qualifications:
🎓 A terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in Management, Business Administration, Strategic Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline with an emphasis on Strategy.
👩🏫 Experience teaching college-level Strategic Management courses.
📝 An active scholarship agenda for peer-reviewed journal publications.
🤝 Effective communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
🌐 Dual qualification in both Strategy and Operations.
🏢 Business industry experience.
