Dear STR Division Members,
Thank you to everyone who participated in the STR Division elections. STR achieved its highest ever election participation rate and the second highest among AOM DIGs this year. I am delighted to announce the newest members of the entire STR Leadership Team (including the election winners).

- Congratulations to Metin Sengul (U Texas, Austin), who is joining STR as the STR Assistant Program Chair for the 2026-2027 academic year (and will continue to Program Chair, Division Chair-Elect, Division Chair and Past Division Chair over the next five years as an elected Officer in the STR Division).
- Congratulations to the following six individuals that were elected for a two-year term to the STR Executive Committee, which establishes Division Policy, nominates committee members, and leads initiatives for the division (listed in alphabetical order by last name):

Two new appointed officers are taking charge of their full-time responsibilities this year, having completed a year of apprenticeship with the former appointed officers in their respective roles: Sandip Bisui (Purdue U) as Treasurer and Cameron Miller (Syracuse U) as Chair of the STR Membership Engagement Committee. One new appointed officer, Maria Rita Micheli (IÉSEG Sch of Mgmt), will begin her one-year term as Co-Director of Communications before taking over from Paolo Aversa (Kings College) as Director of Communications next year.
Please join me in thanking Paul Drnevich (U of Alabama) and Andy Wu (Harvard U) for their service as STR Treasurer and Chair of the STR Membership Engagement Committee, respectively (their terms come to an end this year in July).
