The PhD Peer Review Seminar on July 25th provides a unique opportunity for Ph.D. students to enhance their presentation skills for upcoming conferences and job talks by learning from outstanding faculty members and a network of peers in a relaxed and friendly environment.

15 PhD students will be invited to present their extended abstract during the seminar in parallel sessions. Each presenter will give a 7-minute presentation followed by 8 minutes of Q&A in two parallel breakout rooms in front of Faculty members and other PhD students. All SMS members are welcome to attend the event and be a part of the Q&A sessions. Register to attend the session at this link. Of note, you must be an SMS member to sign in.

Submit your proposal for review by June 26th using this link. Proposals should be no longer than 8 pages including references, tables, and figures and should be anonymous. Only current PhD students should submit to this call. The submitted proposals will be reviewed by volunteer PhD students and Faculty members before the presentation session.
