While we prepare for the AOM Annual Meeting, we would also like to alert you to a Paper Development Workshop (PDW) we are hosting at the Strategic Management Society (SMS) Annual Conference in October. The workshop is held on Saturday, October 17, 2026; the first day of the SMS Conference.
This workshop brings together an outstanding panel of senior scholars and experienced discussants to provide developmental feedback on participants' research while fostering connections across the strategy community. We encourage junior faculty to apply and welcome scholars at all career stages to attend the panel discussion.

Workshop Description
At the SMS 46th Annual Conference, the strategic management research community will engage with pressing questions about strategy in an evolving global environment, including challenges related to competition, innovation, and the management of knowledge and human capital. Through an interactive panel and Q&A discussion followed by in-depth paper feedback sessions, this workshop brings together diverse perspectives from the Corporate Strategy, Competitive Strategy, Cooperative Strategy, Behavioral Strategy, Knowledge & Innovation, Strategic Human Capital, and Global Strategy Interest Groups.
We hope you'll consider applying and encourage your colleagues, junior faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and doctoral students to join us. Walk-ins are welcome for the panel portion of the workshop.
