Family firms are important contributors to economic development globally. Beyond economic contributions, family firms are associated with important non-financial influences and considerations, such as how they realize their ethical responsibility, treat employees, and support members' health. This webinar seeks to continue initial scholarly discussions at our PDW at AOM 2025, and covers topics of family firms' social impacts from the following perspectives:  

1. Strategies toward external stakeholders and their social evaluations, such as corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies and their impact on family and firm reputation;
2. Strategies toward internal stakeholders, such as human resource management strategies and their impact on employees;
3. Internal organizational members' well-being and (mental) health, as one of the examples of the underresearched topics

Next to a research presentation and overview, this webinar features interactive roundtable discussions in which participants will exchange their experiences and feedback on their own projects. These discussions aim to spark new ideas across the topics.
