The budgeted salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 annually. Salary is commensurate with experience and rank.

Position Summary
The University of Illinois Chicago College of Business Administration invites applications for up to two non-tenure-track positions at the rank of Teaching Assistant Professor, Teaching Associate Professor, or Teaching Professor in the Managerial Studies Department. UIC's Managerial Studies Department offers undergraduate degrees in Management, Human Resource Management, and Entrepreneurship, and teaches the integrated capstone course for undergraduate students in the College of Business. The department also covers various courses in the MBA programs, including courses in the new online MBA, as well as courses in the soon-to-be-launched online MSHRM program. The department seeks candidates passionate about teaching and promoting student success at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Teaching courses to undergraduate and/or graduate students
o Teaching responsibilities for the current openings include various courses within the areas of Business and Organization Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, etc. Candidates with experience or interest in teaching topics in these and related areas are encouraged to apply. In addition, candidates who have experience with new and emerging data analysis tools and related decision making in any teaching area should indicate this in their application.
· Providing service to the department, college, and university
· Contributing to the broader mission of the College through industry outreach, student engagement and activities, and professional development/scholarly activities
· Performing other professional and/or academic activities and special projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for the positions, a doctorate/terminal degree in business or related field, past experience of effective teaching of management-related courses at a four-year college, and a demonstrated record of professional and/or scholarly accomplishment is expected.
