    Time and Venue:

    PDW Overview:
Around the world we find researchers engaged in exciting, innovative, and relevant research projects. Unfortunately, many of these geographically diverse researchers face significant obstacles that prevent them from publishing in leading, high-impact journals and reaching a broad audience. This PDW is targeted to help scholars from under-represented countries who seek successful publication of their research in top scholarly journals. The PDW has a very practical, hands-on orientation. The PDW consists of three highly interactive sessions:

    1. Global Scholars' Panel: Publishing and building an academic career outside North America – Different experiences from different regions

    • Raffaele Conti (ESSEC Business School, France)
    • Glenn Hoetker (Melbourne Business School, Australia)
    • Ishtiaq Pasha Mahmood (NUS Business School, Singapore)
    • Yonghoon Lee (HKUST, Hong Kong)
    2. Editors' Panel: Dialogues on framing and submitting manuscripts from outside North America: opportunities, challenges, and common pitfalls
      • Nan Jia (Associate Editor, Strategic Management Journal)
      • Jiatao Li (Associate Editor, Journal of International Business Studies)
      • Puay Khoon Toh (Senior Editor, Organization Science)
      • Daphne Yiu (Associate Editor, Academy of Management Journal)

      3. Individual paper feedback session: Accepted papers organized around the room and dialed in via Zoom

      Organizers:

Sandro Cabral, Insper Institute of Education and Research, South America
