The Organization group in the Department of Accounting, Innovation & Strategy at the University of Vienna invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher position (3 years, starting June 1, 2026).
The postdoc will work closely with Prof. Thorsten Grohsjean and join a highly international department whose faculty publish in leading journals such as AMJ, AMR, Management Science, Organization Science, and SMJ.
We seek candidates with a very strong quantitative background and research on individual-level decision-making, interactions, or behavior in areas such as:
- Strategy
- Innovation Management
- Organization Theory
- Organizational Behavior
Applicants should have completed their PhD (or be near completion) and demonstrate strong potential for high-quality research. The position also involves teaching in English at the undergraduate and master's level. Knowledge of German is not required.
Position details:
• Full-time (40h/week)
• Salary: €5,014.30 gross/month (Austrian B1 salary group)
• Duration: up to 3 years (initial 1.5-year contract with extension)
• Start date: June 1, 2026
