We are happy to announce the second edition of the SKEMA-EOS PhD course on Organizational Experiments. The course is aimed at PhD students who are interested in using experiments in their study of organizations.
While experiments have long been the standard to test causal relationships in natural sciences, they are now becoming increasingly popular in social sciences. This course will focus on applying experiments to the study of organizations. Students will be exposed to the fundamentals of the experimental methodology, the details of studying organizations in the lab (and online), and the current stage of knowledge in the field. They will also learn about the practicalities of designing and running a (multiplayer) experiment.
A unique feature of this course is that many sessions will be taught by experts on the session topic, including Phanish Puranam (INSEAD), Ronald Klingebiel (Frankfurt School of Finance and Management), Jerry Guo (Frankfurt School of Finance and Management), Christian Tröster (Kühne Logistics University), and Oana Vuculescu (Aarhus University).
The course will run for 8 times 3 hours. Successful course participants will be awarded 3 ECTS points. The course will be held entirely online, it will be free, and all interested scholars are welcome to apply, though preference will be given to PhD students.
Course dates are on April 8, April 9, April 15, April 16, April 22, April 23, April 29, May 7, and June 4.
