The Strategic Management Society (SMS) is looking for a volunteer to lead our media and communication efforts. This is part of a multi-year effort by SMS to expand our media footprint and ensure that the content we generate and publish gets more broadly disseminated among both our members and practitioners. To make that happen, we are looking to form a new media and communications team, and this call is a first step towards that.
As Media Chair, you will be a key leader of the SMS Media Taskforce, shaping content strategy, growing audience engagement, and enhancing the Society's visibility. You'll work closely with the SMS Board, oversee a team of volunteers, and help position SMS as a key voice in strategic management. If you have volunteer leadership experience, familiarity with social media, content production or public relations, and are eager to make an impact, this is your chance to build connections, influence the field, and leave a lasting mark on SMS's outreach efforts.
