My co-editors (William Schulze, Robert Eberhart, Jeannette A. Colyvas, Jennifer E. Jennings, P. Devereaux Jennings, Michael Lounsbury, Jeffrey G. York) and I welcome submissions to an
Academy of Management Perspectives special issue on
Entrepreneurialism, Inequality, and Society: Organizational and Policy Implications. The issue seeks to publish research trying to understand the bounds of how and when entrepreneurship might transform society – when it is useful to produce social good, or if it might have negative spillover effects, or even when it is an appropriate solution for non-commercial ends. This topic includes papers centered on a critical assessment of when and how entrepreneurship and innovation policy should be implemented.
